Wow. I’ve filmed a lot of live music, but DuranDuran are up there with the best live performers I’ve ever seen. I have been in Italy for the past four days filming a private event in Puglia, right down in the heel of Italy with all its impressively rich architectural history and ancient olive groves. I don’t think I’ve ever been so hot. Running around with camera gear in near 40 degree heat wasn’t my favourite part of the job. Once the sun went down and DuranDuran performed on a purpose built stage built over the Aegean coastline, I was in heaven. Sorry no pictures from the night as it was a private event. You’ll just have to take my word for it… and put up with this stock image!
