Yesterday I was at the Lancaster Hotel in Marylebone at the Agent Achievement Awards, hosted by Travel Weekly. I was one of two cameramen filming for the large screens either side of the stage so that all of the 500 or so guests could see what was going on. There was a surprise appearance by X-Factor finalist Rylan Clark who performed a few songs. As usual I was one of the few people who had never heard of him. I must get more up to date! The best part of the evening was seeing voiceover legend Peter Dickson (X-Factor, Britain’s Got Talent E4 etc.) at his microphone behind the scenes doing all the announcements.
