At last the weather allowed me to get up in the air again today. I drove down to Devils Dyke and was in the air by 11am. Despite being rather overcast I managed a couple of flights with a total airtime of maybe an hour or so. It was quite cold but I had borrowed Tom’s thermal flying suit which kept me toasty and it was just cold hands that forced me down to warm up. The picture below is looking north towards Devils Dyke from just over 1,000 ft, with the take-off field just left of centre.
