Yesterday I got to put my hands on the Olympic 2012 torch for the first time. I was up in Sheffield filming at a post torch-bearing event. There was a reception at the Holiday Inn and amongst the guests were Olympic athletes, one of whom put on an impressive gymnastics display on a balance beam. Oh and Nick Clegg dropped in for a while too!
