Last nights TTG Awards was attended by around 1300 people. Once again I was supplying a video feed to the live screens either side of the stage. Rob Brydon was compering and did a ten minute stand up routine before the awards began. The filming itself is not at all demanding and there is a lot of waiting around; having arrived at 2pm I finished at 1am. On the camera I had a talkback system, (headphones and microphone), so the AV people can tell me when they are cutting to live camera. The most fun part of the evening was listening to the (often rude but very funny) banter between the audio and lighting crew over the headphones!
